BANNED from all Caesars Properties!

Added on Feb 21, 2019 From Jeff Boski

I attempt to play a $250 World Series of Poker circuit event at the Rio hotel casino in Las Vegas. I am faced with an unexpected ultimatum. Will I be banned from all Caesars Entertainment properties?

When you cash a WSOP event, a dealer walks you over to another employee that has a computer and they take your ID and input what MTT you cashed in and what place you got. They also give you a payout card that you can keep as a souvenir or give to the person at the payout cage. You don't need possession of your payout card to get paid since they already have all your info. You just need a passport or drivers license. Historically, when I cash events at the WSOP, I don't get paid out right away for various reasons. There may already be a long line from all the recent min cashers, or I might just need to register another event. At the end of every WSOP, I go to the cage to get a printout of all of my buy ins and cashes for tax purposes and to claim any unpaid cashes. AFAIK, if you don't claim them, WSOP keeps them. They said I didn't get paid for my tag team cash, so I got paid cash. I didn't think it was possible for the computer system to pay me twice for the same cash.

Jan 18, 2020 - So this was paid out in cash? Did you ask for video showing you received the money? No money trail, how do they know it wasn't a mistake? If they deposited it into an account electronically, they'd be able to take it back legally.

Ron Smith Says:

Jan 16, 2020 - TRUST ME..... I WON $10.000 at a casino back in the day.... I paid my tax's on it at the end of the year.... 5 years later doing my tax's and the IRS took that return and 3 years of returns because they said I owed tax on $110.000 not $10.000 and showed me the paper work from the casino.... I went to the casino they told me that is what I won..... BULLSHIT.... Show me the tape of you giving me $110.000 on that day and that time at the cage payout..... show me the paperwork with my name on it and my signature …… after another year of fighting with this CASINO all the way up to the President of this CASINO GROUP..... GUESS WHAT HAPPENED...… You got it.... they FUCKED UP and for 7 years the IRS took my money and when it was shown they messed up they were wrong..... they wanted to say sorry here is dinner on us at the best place they had...…….. DO YOU THINK I TOOK THAT..... NOT NO BUT HELL NO..... But what I did do was get all the tapes paper work from them and the IRS paper work that showed the money that they took over the years and what it did to my credit score before this then after..... What more then a dinner do you think I got in the end,,,,,,??? Let's just say that they paid more then 10 to 1..... and to this day they must make sure that it never shows up on my credit either from them or the IRS.... if it does they will have to pay over 100 to 1... still 5 years left on that deal..... NOW GO GET THE TAPE.... I'm not famous YOU ARE.... GET THE FUCKING TAPE... Because what they are saying is that you are a cheat..... if you got banned from them YOU CAN BET EVERY CASINO would have banned you..... just like the BLACK BOOK for cheating in a casino on tables games or counting cards...…. YOU MIGHT WANT TO LOOK INTO SEE IF YOUR NAME WAS EVER PUT IN OR ON ANY LIST...of other casino's THEY ALL HAVE CPU'S HOOKED....  FIGHT FOR YOUR GOOD NAME NOW OR IT WILL COST YOU BIG TIME LATER.... Get a paper from the casino saying that it was only in house never put out of the casino group , You will thank me later.... TRUST ME...!!!!!

Ron Smith Says:

Jan 16, 2020 - You WOULD KNOW IF YOU CASHED 2 TIMES.... DID YOU.....????? 1 million camera's in the casino..... at the cage.... they have the video the time stamp of each payout to you.... so lets see the tape of you going to the cage at that time and getting paid...…  I WANT TO SEE THE TAPE.....  NOW...…????  NO NO NO NO..... I WANT TO SEE THE TAPE..... TAPES DON'T LIE.... But people do put in wrong information into cpu's all the time SHOW ME THE TAPE....

Ace Nothing Says:

Jan 15, 2020 - How could you not know if you were paid twice? Sounds like the cashier swindled the casino out of $5k and you footed the bill. I would of sue for slander...

Terry Green Says:

Jan 8, 2020 - If they show you the double payment to your satisfaction, you should give them their money back. As for banning you, hey, it was their mistake, not yours. That is really the wrong way to handle it. They should have your contract information, why not contact you when they realize their mistake? Poorly handled Harrah’s!

Peter Shanks Says:

Jan 7, 2020 - What is 5k in terms of a percentage of your bankroll ( sorry maybe a bit personal ) but you asked what our thoughts were -) , i am guessing its not much so really there was no real decision here.

Benjamin Spater Says:

Jan 1, 2020 - Good choice. Proud of you.

have a heart, don't fart. Says:

Dec 30, 2019 - I would've checked my bank account for evidence of the second deposit and if it was there, yes return the money.

morrey Win Says:

Dec 21, 2019 - I'd pay because you know that's what we do!!!
